For this Bubl Draw Children’s Creative App Review, I think the best thing to do is to encourage you to look at the video to see how colorful and fun it is. The recommended age is 3 years old and up but I think a younger child even a baby, a year old could have fun with this app because it is so easy to use and has no words. The concept is to have fun and enjoy the color and sound that your creativity provides you. On my iPad Air the colors are breathtakingly vivid and so much fun to watch as the lines and shapes you create jump around and bounce to the music. As a former art teacher, I am very attracted to this app, but it might be interesting to also mention that the app is inspired by the visual art of Wassily Kandinksy, the music of Brian Eno, he minimalist compositions of Philip Glass and Steve Reich; and the contemporary creative collaborations of Sesame Street. It has been named the Best New App in the Kid’s Category on the US, Canada and UK App Stores.
According to the Russian developer Bubl, “Bubl Draw is an educational app designed to help develop the artistic perception of shape, color and sound. It composes music out of drawings, where every color has a corresponding musical instrument that changes key as the drawing changes shape. Complete lines and shapes turn into unique musical phrases that turn into a complete composition.”
