My August ABC Insects Illustrations for Doodle Day kept me very busy last month. For those of you that might not have heard of Doodle Day, it is a group on Facebook for anyone that likes to doodle, adults and children. The prompts each month are daily and based on a them for the month. The members are a combination of all abilities from professional illustrators to those that are beginners.
It was a great experience and I not only enjoyed it but also learned a lot. I found out although my research for the project that there are quite a few insects that i had never heard about before. The illustrations will become a part of a new book on ABC Insects which I will add a description and interesting facts about each insect.
