As the app world continues to explode that are thousands among thousands of entertaining and fun apps to choose from. I find it very refreshing however that the number of apps to help the handicapped and special needs are also growing.
Marlee signs is an app that teaches sign language. It is that simple. Marlee Matlin is the famous deaf actress that has starred in numerous TV shows and movies. She is the only deaf person to win an academy award as an actress in a leading role her performance in the movie, “Children Of A Lesser God”.
The app is simple and straight forward with an about section that explains the app, a spelling section that has a keyboard and after you type any word it shows you how to sign it. There is also a section that has lessons broken down into different categories and a store where you can buy additional lesson packs if desired.
