I hand sculpted the original design for this magnet. I have noticed the fields of cotton when traveling through south Georgia. My fascination with this plant involves these cotton bolls that produce something so soft and can be made into clothing. My mother shared with me when I was a child that she used to pick cotton and how difficult it would scrape her hands from the sharp edges on the cotton boll.

The hydrostone this product is made with is very durable. It is a combination of plaster and concrete. It will break in severe conditions such as being dropped on concrete but is much more durable than paper, plaster, or glass.
