As the days in October dwindle and Halloween approaches, I had been searching for spooky Halloween books when I found Skeleton For Dinner for my children’s book review.  Being a big fan of the book’s illustrator, Will Terry, I was very curious what type of Halloween characters he might create for a Halloween book since his other characters are always so colorful and full of personality.

Skeleton For Dinner does not disappoint the desire for a spooky witches tale.  Written by author, Margery Cuyler, Skeleton For Dinner is a spooky story about a skeleton that mistakenly thinks that two witches are going to eat him for dinner.  The carefully illustrated pages by Will Terry, develop an eery glow and spooky feel to the story that leave the reader curious to find out more.

The book is recommended for age level 4-8 years of age and is available in hardback, paperback and ebook format on Kindle.
