Drawing and creating art is so much fun but what are some ways that kids can share their art?

1, Make a card. Fold a piece of paper in half and make a card with your drawing.  Give it to a friend or a family member.

2.  Save your art in a folder and then mount on colored paper or frame and take to a senior center or a hospital.  It will brighten someone’s day.

3.  Create your drawings and paintings on paper that is all the same size.  Use two pieces of colored paper for the front and back and create a book by stapling together or punching holes in the top and lacing with ribbon or yarn.

4.  Share with a pen pal.  Drawing pictures and sharing them with a new friend  in another country  far away is a great way to have your art go around the world. These are some pictures that children in Africa drew in an art exchange my art class did with them.

5..  Share your art art work with others on my FaceBook page.  It is fun to see everyone’ creations.  For today’s drawing assignment, draw a picture of your favorite toy or stuffed animal. Make a picture with a smart phone or camera and post it in the comment section of the page.
